Arnab Ghosh Presents Research in Parliament

St Cross student Arnab Ghosh presented his project 'Interactive Sketch and Fill' at the Engineering section of the 2020 STEM for BRITAIN event in Parliament on 9 March 2020. This project, previously presented at the International Conference in Computer Vision (ICCV 2019), proposed a novel AI based sketching assistant which guides users to draw better sketches. Once the completed sketch is obtained it also photorealistically renders it giving the illusion that the user is interactively editing an image.

STEM for BRITAIN aims to bridge the gap between scientific advance and policy implementation by offering a platform for communication between academic and government bodies. Arnab's project was commissioned to imagine the future of AI assisted image editing and image creation for the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of softwares.
