Important: Chrome Bug with Inspera
A bug has been identified with version 90 of the Chrome browser which is causing one specific issue within Inspera. You may find, when typing directly into the Inspera text editor, that if you backspace to delete a comma at the end of a line of text, the comma is deleted along with the entire paragraph of text. To get around this issue, you can use the Undo button on the Inspera toolbar, or Ctrl+ Z, to retrieve your text.
Updating your Chrome to the latest version, or using a different browser (Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari) should get around the issue.
The University is partnering with Inspera Assessment, a leading European e-assessment provider, for all online open-book exams (from Trinity term 2021 onwards) and online coursework submissions (during the academic year 21-22).
Please make sure that you familiarise yourself with the University guidance for submitting assessments here and do follow closely the guidance provided by your department when preparing to submit work.
